The complex of Pei Gui Hall consists of a front courtyard and a backyard, both filled with greenery. An over a-hundred-year-old sweet osmanthus tree stands by a gift shop near the entrance, where one can find local delicacies and books about Hsin Kang.
A long wooden arbour covered by lush blue sky vine leads to the backyard where more osmanthus trees grow. Under the shade of a giant longan tree is a Starbucks. The fragrance of osmanthus blossoms and coffee aroma drift in the air.
